Is a certificate of completion of a language course equivalent to a State Language Proficiency Certificate?

No, it is not. Upon completion of a Lithuanian language course, an examination must be taken. Registration takes place via the National Education Agency e-services system at https://eksternams.nsa.smm.lt/login

Exams take place at the Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Adult Education Centre in Vilnius, 43 Kauno Street, mobile (0 633) 52 737; at the ‘Santarvė’ Gymnasium in Šalčininkai, 14 Vytauto Street, tel. (0 380) 52 878; at the Gediminas Gymnasium in Nemenčinė, Vilnius District, Ežero g. 14, tel. (0 5) 237 1485; at the ‘Verdenė’ Gymnasium in Visaginas, Taikos pr. 21, tel. (0 386) 72 969; Trakai Adult Education Centre, 42 Birutės Street, tel. (0 528) 51 619 and in other municipalities.
